Lynne Puckett practices in the areas of finance, corporate, and securities law where she represents companies in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, debt and equity offerings, and general corporate and securities law matters. A significant portion of Lynne’s practice involves complex corporate restructurings and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions and subsidiary and division divestitures.

Lynne represents companies across many industries, including companies in industrial manufacturing, biotechnology, medical devices, software, health care, technology, and consumer businesses. Her clients range from large, international corporations to locally operated, nonprofits and small to mid-size emerging technology companies. She also represents national and regional investment banking firms and venture capitalists in connection with offerings of debt and equity securities, including initial public offerings and subsequent and secondary offerings.

Lynne is a trustee of the American Shakespeare Center and a member of the board of directors and Vice-President of Baltimore Outreach Services, Inc., a shelter for homeless women and children in Baltimore City. She has previously served as a member of the board of visitors of the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center and as a member of the board of directors of START (Summer Time and Reading Together), a Washington, D.C. nonprofit organization that supports improved literacy for inner city children.

Before entering the practice of law, Lynne worked for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, where she received the agency’s Exceptional Performance Award in 1989. She later worked for a major U.S. defense contractor.
