Bernd Beckmann advises domestic and international corporations and public bodies on a broad range of regulatory matters and on privatizations, with a special emphasis on the energy, telecommunications, and water sectors.

Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Bernd gathered work experience in the banking regulation practice group of a leading U.S. law firm in New York City and at the U.S. House of Representatives.

Bernd's doctoral thesis focused on public-private partnerships.
