RECRUITMENT PROGRAM

ABOUT US
Hogan and Hartson is a dynamic, full-service ‘Top 30’ global law firm with world-scale transactions, an enviable client base that included representations of nearly half the Fortune 250 in 2006, and rocketing financials. The firm, headquartered in Washington, D.C., has more than 1,100 lawyers in 24 offices worldwide, including, New York, London, Paris, and Hong Kong.

In London we have been advising UK, U.S., pan-European, and other multinational businesses since we opened our doors in 1990. Our London based lawyers are UK and U.S. qualified (including many with dual qualifications) and also have extensive experience throughout Europe as well as in regions with particularly complex legal and political dynamics such as Russia and the CIS, Africa, and the Middle East. The London office has more than doubled in size in the last two years and today we are almost 60 lawyers-strong (having grown from fewer than 10 lawyers at the start of 2002) and still growing. In February 2006 we moved into new premises with the capacity to house over 100 lawyers. Despite significant growth, we have managed to maintain our unique collaborative culture and enjoyable work environment, evidenced by high lawyer retention rates.

It may also be possible to spend time in one of our focused teams such as tax, employment, and competition. Trainees will sit with a senior lawyer and will be exposed to work from everyone in their department, with appropriate support and supervision.
