Philip Larson is the Chairman of the firm's antitrust, competition, and consumer protection practice group. He entered private practice with Hogan & Hartson in 1971 and has been active in counseling, investigations, and litigation in all areas of antitrust and consumer protection since 1973.

Phil's practice focuses primarily on antitrust clearance of mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures, strategic alliances, and other cooperative relationships among competitors; grand jury matters; dominant firm conduct; pricing, distribution, and distributor and dealer relations; trade and professional associations; and advertising regulation and other consumer protection matters. His practice extends to a broad variety of traditional and high tech clients in such industries as transportation, travel, communications, defense, health care, medical devices, biotechnology, e-commerce, computer hardware and software, agriculture, defense, and other product and service industries.
