Hogan & Hartson Assists S1 Corporation in Divestment of International Software Business

NEW YORK, August 16, 2006 - Lawyers with Hogan & Hartson LLP represented the S1 Corporation, a leading provider of customer interaction software solutions for financial and payment services, in the sale of its FRS division to The Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm, and Kennet Partners, a technology investor, for an undisclosed sum.
 
The FRS division of the S1 Corporation, which provides financial institutions worldwide with regulatory reporting, compliance, and operational risk management solutions, comprises subsidiaries in the United States, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Hong Kong.    
 
Hogan & Hartson offices involved include New York, Washington, D.C., London, Brussels, Paris, and Hong Kong. The transaction was led by partners Stuart Stein and Lex Eley and associates Inna Nazarova Jackson and Andrea Sluchan from the firm's New York office.
