Steven Hollman is a trial attorney who practices complex commercial litigation and general civil litigation in federal courts and administrative tribunals, as well as in the state courts for the District of Columbia and Maryland.
Steve's wide-ranging litigation practice focuses on intellectual property matters and business and commercial contract disputes. His practice also encompasses patent, trademark, and copyright litigation; unfair competition, trade secret, and Lanham Act claims; computer, Internet, telecommunications, and high-technology disputes; health provider and health insurance conflicts; debtor-creditor and bankruptcy matters; professional negligence and malpractice matters; real estate and land use disputes; and employment litigation.
Through the firm’s Community Services Department, Steve has handled a broad range of civil rights and constitutional law cases and federal administrative proceedings involving claims under the First, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution, the Voting Rights Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and federal immigration laws. He was co-counsel in a highly publicized Civil Rights Act case which won a unanimous 1987 Supreme Court decision.
