Sanjesh Sharma primarily focuses on intellectual property and general commercial business litigation and counseling, including patent infringement and inventorship disputes, Hatch-Waxman Act patent litigation, Section 337 proceedings before the International Trade Commission (ITC), unfair competition, false advertising and Lanham Act claims, and California's Proposition 65 matters.

Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Sanjesh worked at national firms where she practiced in the areas of intellectual property, including patent, trademark, and copyright litigation and prosecution, patent interference, patent, and copyright opinion work; pharmaceutical product liability; and general commercial business litigation. Sanjesh has an undergraduate degree in microbiology and, before beginning her law career, did basic science research in the areas of gene therapy, signal transduction, and immunology.
