Pacific Rim Advisory Council
Hogan & Hartson is a member of the Pacific Rim Advisory Council, a nonexclusive network of leading law firms with offices in important business centers in Asia and Latin America, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Venezuela. Hogan & Hartson partner Raymond J. Batla, Jr. has been elected Chairman of the PRAC and will serve for the 2010-2011 term, effective January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011.

Goldfield, senior international advisor at Hogan & Hartson, will serve as Vice Chairs, and former U.S. Ambassador to Brazil Anthony S. Harrington serves as CEO. Hogan & Hartson entered into a strategic alliance with The Law Firm of Salah Al-Hejailan — the oldest and largest law firm in Saudi Arabia — in December 2004. The alliance expands upon a 20 year professional relationship between both firms. The combination of the resources of Hogan & Hartson together with the leading local and regional experience of The Law Firm of Salah Al-Hejailan provides a strong platform and support for our clients conducting business in and from the Middle East.
