Waajid Siddiqui’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, complex joint ventures, and corporate finance. He has experience in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and regularly counsels a variety of strategic and financial institutions in the financial services industry. His advisory work includes representation of major international companies with acquisitions and dispositions, complex financings, and equity investing. His representations in the industrial sector include significant energy and petrochemical transactions.
Prior to joining the firm, Waajid was a partner at another international firm and served as senior counsel with Texaco Inc., where he focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions in Western Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Increasingly, Waajid's practice has focused on counseling clients with transactions in the Middle East and Asia, particularly India.
